I used an ASAT 3D suit this year. I found that I do to much on foot for the 3D suit though and intend to invest in some new Camo gear. Now I'm looking at the Killik Highlander instead of First Lite ASAT. The variety in terrain here seems difficult to match. Do you west side guys have any advice? Then again, maybe multicam would work well too.

I love Multicam. However most of Western Wa is darker greens.

I think colors are more for the hunter than the animals. I don't think the colors matter as much as breaking up solid colors.

Agree. I am a fan of ASAT. Most camo is designed for the human appeal. When is the last time you saw a multi colored deer? How many times have you been near deer and elk in normal clothes? Remember many of the people we owe are hunting heritage too used normal outdoor clothes for the time. Don't over think the cama. How you move is more important.

Camp patterns are 100% for the hunter. Animals don't see the same way we do. What's important is to break up your profile so you don't look like s big blob. Most of th camp patterns make you look like a big blob if you wear the pattern head to toe. Every animal I've killed I was wearing carhartts & flannel inside of 80 yards

I like Pencott Greenzone

I don't really think it matters too much. Wear what you think is comfortable in your price range.
