Anyone hunt the late muzzleloader season in 574? I was thinking of driving down Thursday evening. I don't have a cow tag. Is it worth my time(5 hour drive) to look for a bull? Thanks, P

I didn't hunt it last year but the year before we pulled 2 bulls out of there late season. If you put in the time I think you definitely have a good shot of getting a crack at one.

Is there any snow in the WR? Still trying to decide between a cow or bull unit. Haven't hunted West Klickitat.

Yeah there is a little snow in both 574 and 578 (Glenwood/Trout lake and up). Gonna be crunchy, good luck.

Anyone have any luck? I went out but was jumping animals outside of my range due to the crunchy ice and snow. I'm no scientist but I also think the moon phase made things worse. All animals I was into were bedded ALL day and didn't get up until after shooting time. Hope you had better luck than me.
