I left my partially frozen turkey in a sink of cold water for about 12 hours. Ok to still cook??
-
Sure, just get it up to temp to kill any bugs.

If the water was cold you should be just fine, just cook it all the way through.
Happy Thanksgiving :cue:

The weather started out cold but sat there for 12 hours. It was still cold this morning and there was still ice inside

I'll be fine, enjoy your family time ;)

My wife and I take ours out the night before and let it rest in the sink . Its fine.
This is wife, yes perfectly fine. I have done before many times. Don't forget to dry and salt cavity. Good luck and Happy thanksgiving.

cook to 160 at the thickest point and it will be fine. I always thaw in a sink of water and it can take 12 hours easily on a big bird. No one has ever gotten sick from anything I have cooked ever. cook and have fun.

especially if there was still ice on the inside.
"Danger Zone" is between 45 and 140 degrees, if there is ice in it, it never got warm enough for bacteria to grow...
