Title: Leased/private lands snohomish valley
Post by: Heartsblood on December 04, 2015, 03:52:41 PM
I know this gets bandied around every season, but I am interested in current information. What clubs are out there? What places are being leased? what are some reviews?
Any EXPERIENCES people have had in so doing?

If I missed a current discussion on this, please link me?  :)

Recommendations?

ps I've never hunted private land in my life.

You should look into a membership at French Creek!  They may require you show your financials, so just a heads up!

He is kidding around with you. To be a member of French Creek you would be more apt to be the owner of the search engine used to look for their website, than a user...

DFW owns property just south of SR 2.  Has some crops and it sounds like the ducks have just started feeding there.  There are a couple of gun clubs on Ebby Island.  There is an excellent private land guide there as well.  Snohomish County owns the Diking District 6 property, east of Ebby Slough.  There is some leased private land off Riverview Rd before you get to Snohomish.  This is usually the time of year that lower valley comes alive.

If you have access to a small boat/motor, there can be some decent hunting off the river using the ramp on the south side of the river downstream from Snoho (if it is still there).

Thanks fellas. Ima keep researching. Looking at the areas near Cherry Valley. From what I hear from locals, it's pretty locked up as far as access. Any leads are appreciated.  8)

 :yeah:

It's not easy to find a good lease here in the valley, but it is possible. Just takes time. But there are the "club" options.  :dunno:
