Just wondering if anyone has a recipe that they swear is the greatest, or best out there. Just got a new smoker from Cabelas for Christmas and looking to make this years meat into some great jerky.

the easiest and I think best
! cup soy sauce
1 cup brown sugar
black pepper
a little red pepper flakes
1/2 cup red wine not super cheap wine, but it doesn't have to be top of the line either (Columbia Crest Cab or Merlot or something in that ball park)
cut the meat fairly thin and soak for 12 hours min.
use cherry wood!!!

How many duck breasts do you usually marinate at a time with this recipe?
