Title: Sun Lakes Unit
Post by: lakeeriewaterfowler on December 05, 2015, 01:42:10 PM
Hey all,

My buddy, dog, and I are heading out tomorrow around the Sun Lakes Unit for upland game. We are both new to the state for work (Kent), me from Ohio, and him from South Carolina. I've hunted preserves in Ohio the past 20 years for released pheasant and chucker, and my dog is pretty decent (lab). To be honest, I'm a little intimidated by the upland game opportunities and miles of land available to a public hunter in eastern WA.

I don't expect to score big tomorrow, more just enjoying the outdoors and scouting. What's most important to me is having fun and staying safe. Looking for any advice members are willing to give about the area; what to look out for, where to go, safety issues, etc. Also - if anyone will be in that area and wants to meet up, PM me. Would love to expand the party!

Thanks,
Dan

Hey, how'd it go over there? If I wasn't so darn busy, I'd have met up with you guys.
