Title: Hornaday has released the leverevolution components
Post by: Grizzly95 on January 21, 2009, 10:09:24 PM: I see that hornaday has released the lever evolution bullet for personal reloading, has anyone tried these with feedback? My father inlaw loves his 30-30 but just got a 270 and now wants me to load some test rounds for the 3030.

Post by: Kain on January 22, 2009, 11:49:33 AM: My Dad and I took his 30-30 out a few weeks ago and they did awesome. By the time we left his group were touching at 100 yards. Pretty impressive for factory ammo. I havnt seen what they do to an animal but Im sure its similar to other polymer tips from Hornady.

my understanding is that hornaday uses a blended powder to achieve the velocity. I might be wrong but I think this is a compressed load. all I can say is "love them"
