Home to clean up and stock supplies...
Ice and snow have melted in the areas I'm hunting........ but
Winds and rain are fully present.
Dress for it.......

We were camping at 2400' hoping for some tracking snow as critters are really scarce----
We bailed out for a couple days, 40 knot wind gusts, thunderstorms, hail, 4 inches of rain in three days and a tornado in SW WA.
Call me a wimp....
and ELK season ends on the 15th

Yeah, with the likely weather I might get skunked his year. We've seen elk but really tough to even see in this nasty weather.
