Title: Holographic sights
Post by: nategood21 on December 07, 2015, 12:57:05 PM
I was curious if anyone has tried putting a Holographic sight on a 45-70? I recently purchased a Marlin 45-70 guide gun and was thinking about putting a scope on it and I'm kind of leaning towards a holographic sight. I also have an AR, both have the rail system on them figured it would be interchangeable. Any thoughts on brands, if it's a good idea on 45-70, or if anyone has any experience with this setup? Using Hornady leverevolotion ammunition.

Is the AR for hunting? Or the zombie apocalypse?

I love an EOTech. I've heard some complaints about their durability and deplorable customer service, but I've banged one around a few times and it has always held up. Its great for two eyed shooting in low light. Not for hunting but picking off the zombies :rockin:

The AR is for Hunting. Had a Coyote come in last night and run off with one of my turkeys as a matter of fact. It will be used in low light for coyotes and bobcats.
