Is it me, or is 22 ammo a lot easier to find compared to a year ago? It sure seems like I see it on the shelf everywhere I go. Sleeves and bricks. Haven't been able to find any blazer, but finding everything else.

I see a lot of higher end 22. The bricks for me have been kind of hit and miss. I bought one this month. I saw another one but passed when I saw it was $32 for a box of 500 remington. I said I'm not paying $32 for that junk. Another guy down the road has boxes of 500 for $60 so maybe 32 isn't so bad. Overall I think you are right it's easier. Still not Easy though. And the prices now officially suck. There are companies I just won't buy from anymore because of the gouging they've been doing. I would still like to see it on the shelves every time I go to the store. It's not. Cabelas the other day had plenty of .17 hmr but no .22lr or magnum. Sportsman's and Dick's was the same. The Walmart near my house hasn't had .22 for 2 years. Maybe I'm going to the wrong places. The only places I see it all the time is at gun stores.

I bought a 555 block two weekends ago for $26 at Dicks.
Sportsmanship had CCI, in 100s for $18 and cheap 50s for $4-6.
It depends on where you go and when you are there. So far, I have not paid over $35 for 500--even last year. Of course, I went to Montana that year and bought several bricks on the road. My 22s are not picky about the type of shell, so cheap works for plinking.

Ouch dude. 7.59 per 100 and 3.69 per 50 where I am finding my cci regularly.

I saw at big js down in orting that they had bricks of 22lr shorts and mini mags, and the big kicker 22 mag/wrf

I haven't been actively searching, but was in cabelas, and they were out. I just shrugged and moved on.

I guess these are the prices we are going to live with now. Just before Sandy Hook I bought a box of those Federals 500 and something for $17.00. I went back when I got home from work 2 months later and the same store was charging $75 a box. So I guess $26 isn't that bad, but what a mark up in just a couple years time!!

Sportsmans in Lewiston had a bunch of 300rd CCI for $23.00 a box a week ago. They still only limit you to one box a day.

Last time I was a Sportsmans Warehouse there was a pretty good assortment. I didn't buy any as I already have a few thousand rounds but it was there. I did buy some at a store somewhere on the way to Astoria a few weeks ago. I can't recall what town I was in but it was a little store on the WA side of the river. The kid who helped me out said it was readily available for them. I think I paid $8 or $9 for the CCI sleeves of 100 rounds. I bought 3. They had no limits.

Sportsmans warehouse in east Wenatchee seems the most consistent for .22 on the shelf and pricing.
