Hey Guys, I got a bobcat the other day and i want to sell it! Where do i take it to sell? Its between 30 and 40lbs, so how much will i get for it? Do i need to have it sealed first or does the guy who buys it seal it for me?thanks
-
I'm pretty sure you need to seal it. I think within 10 days of harvest. The only buyer I know is Cascade in Pateros 509-923-2326. You may call some Taxidermists though. they may be interested.
About sealing I hear some guys are picky on where to put the seal. You may want to call around for the buyer first and ask them how they want it done. My Taxi was irritated with where F&G put mine.

yeah i'd go with the one in Paterous.
U guys know any good taxi's around wenatchee or is Paterous where i should go?

yeah i am planning on taking some yotes to sell in a couple weeks and i wanna know which taxi to take them to.

Call George Brady before you go to Pateros and see what he's been paying for bobs, I believe that he may be able to seal them also but not sure. You may posssibly get more from a taxi for your pelt(s) but would have to check around.
By the way that's a big Bobcat and Congrats, I think I know where there's some more up by you. :-X

How do i get to paterous from davenport/wilbur area and how far is it?Does the guy there seal them for you? What are they usally paying for them? Where is george brady at big10gauge and do you have his phone number?thanks

Your best bet would be to head across the top to Brewster and then go up to Pateros, GutPile gave the phone#. I'd guess about 90 miles or so from your place, At least you might see some dogs along the way.
