Anybody on here ever hunt Cranberry Lake in Pierce County? Online it says that it is a public lake but I can't seem to find anything about public access. Any one know?

I'm pretty sure it has always been private only. There is no public access as far as I'm aware.

So according to wdfw it is a public lake, seems odd that a public lake only has private access.

Zooming in on the map clearly shows the lakes in that area that have public access; Cranberry is not included. Not sure where you got your info. There is a Cranberry Lake on Fidalgo (Island County) that is in a state park :dunno:
I've lived in Pierce County for 5 decades and hunted pretty much every accessible body of water...and I don't believe that's one, unless you want to knock on some doors

Thank you. I guess that rules that out. That was the impression I got as well, looking at google maps it's obvious that nothing leads to the water. Oh well it was a thought. Thanks for the info.
