Took the boy to Sportsman's Warehouse in Federal Way to look at animals today. Swung by the optics department and look what I found for $319... VX-III 3.5-10... I'm stoked. Strapped it to the .25-06 when I got home... match made in heaven baby. I'll shoot it till spring... then send it off for a turret.

Nice, Great deal.

Was that a demo or something or were they all that price?

They were on sale for $399... this one was marked as a 2.5-8... $319. Lucky me...

SW has had that deal for a while now. I picked up two VX-III 3.5x30x40's a couple of weeks ago for $399. I've got plans for one and the other will be a spare.

OK... I'm hooked. Took it too the range yesterday...it has to be the brightest, most forgiving scope I've ever used. I'v owned a bunch of Leupolds... but this is the first VX-III... and I must say I'm very impressed. Up untill now, my favorite scope in this class was the Zeiss Conquest 3-9... the Leupold kicks it's ass. Can't wait to get a nice M-1 turret installed... then it'll be the perfect scope.
