Title: Venison Brawts

Does anyone have a venison brawt recipe they have tried and really liked. I pulled some meat out of the freezer last night and am going to try a small batch of both brawts and breakfast sausage this weekend. There have been a few recipes pop up on here for the breakfast sausage lately, but I haven't seen any for brawts. Also when googling it there only seems to be 1 recipe that pops up.

Also If anyone has any tips for making or storing them I am all ears. I have never tried doing brawts before and am still trying to perfect snack sticks so any advice is very much appreciated.

We've used the recipe out of Rytek Kutas' book "Great Sausage Recipes & Meat Curing" and it turned out awesome!!! We used right around 17lbs of elk meat with 8lbs of pork shoulder per 25lbs.

Thanks for the link. I never would have found that and its quite different than the other recipes I have found.
