Title: Anyone fish burbot in Keechelus?
Post by: luvmystang67 on January 08, 2016, 09:30:32 AM
Just curious if anyone has had any luck there and how you go about doing it.  Seems like it might be a fun and freezing thing to do sometime this winter.

Just passed by there last weekend and it was pretty well iced over for the most part.  And not safe looking ice.

I used to fish it years ago back when set lines were legal.  You could catch a decent limit and they are good eating fish.

If you fish the ice, just be sure to measure it as you move around as the thickness can fluctuate across the lake.
