Title: Nutria
Post by: silverdalesauer on January 10, 2016, 11:03:10 PM
Thought I'd post this pic of my oldest son with a recently shot nutria.

Any fur trappers out there know if the pelts are worth with anything? Is it legal to sell them without a business license? Thoughts?

Nice shooting

The fur isn't worth much at all if anything.  Fur Buyers want them at 30" long or longer and they are only paying $1.00 or $2.00 this year if you can find one to sell it to.  Fur is way down this year and it doesn't look good for the next 5-6 years.   :twocents:

Have it tanned for yourself and make something out of it.
