I have three 50 round boxes of RAGE 40 cal. ammo that was purchased last year at my local gun shop.
The ammo is 40 TMJFN 180 gr. lot #07131040WIN. While shooting my Glock 22 yesterday, I noticed a
very under powered round. I inspected the pistol and found a bullet to be lodged halfway down the barrel.
After returning home and weighing all the rounds in the first box, it seems that there are several rounds
that have little or no powder at all in them.
Had I not been paying attention while shooting, this could have been catastrophic. Just a word of caution
if anyone is using this ammo. I plan on pulling all bullets from remaining boxes and weighing powder charges.

This is a good warning.
I might suggest putting a warning in the title to make sure it gets people's attention, like "Warning to those who shoot RAGE 40 cal. ammo" to make sure people are reading it and not thinking it is just a review or something.

 Glad you are still in one piece!

Nip, contact the manufacturer ASAP. The same thing happened to me last year (Hornady). They acted with great haste, took back the ammunition, conducted tests, and reported the results to me. They also compensated me for the ammunition.
It is VERY dangerous to shoot with underpowered ammo! I am very glad for you that you noticed a problem and stopped shooting.

I have tried to contact Reffett Elite Firearms & Custom Ammunition ( RAGE ) in Moses Lake Wa. but I think
they are no longer in business. I hope this message get's out to those that have any of this ammo.
