My daughter's next step is shooting .223. She shoots her .22 quite well ! But she's left handed and I do not have a lefty upper. Is she in for hot brass across her cheek? :dunno:
-
Nope
A little gassy so eye pro for sure. (Obvious)
-
I know my share of south laws that shoot AR's with no problem.
-
I'm a lefty. My AR's are all righty.
I shoot them with no issues, but I ALWAYS wear glasses.
-
Glasses and one of those brass catchers that hook to the top rail. Tried the velcrow over the forend kind and they seem to shift too much and cause problems.

Im a lefty and dont have issues shooting any of my right handed guns.

:yeah: uncle Sam don't care, he tells you to adapt and overcome, so I did and now it still feels weird shooting a lefty weapon. :chuckle:

I'm a lefty and have a safe full of right hand AR-15's. No problems, but as jay.sharkbait stated, they can bleed out a bit of gas.
Also on a rare occasion, and depending on the load, un-burnt powder.
Eye and ear protection and she'll be good to go. ( unprotected, the right ear will get hit the hardest shooting a right hand AR, left handed)

Shell deflector. For lefties and righties. Can't we all get along? :chuckle:

:yeah: Beat me to it. I took a lefty (both his dexterity and his politics) shooting my AR and other firearms. No problem with the shells because of the deflection knob thingy.
