Arizona is on the right track. I like this idea.
Arizona 2016 HB2494: "Tax Credit; Concealed Weapon Permits" (https://legiscan.com/AZ/text/HB2494/id/1297402)
"... a credit is allowed ... for training courses or classes taken by the taxpayer or by the spouse or a dependent of the taxpayer for the purposes of applying and qualifying for a permit to carry a concealed weapon...
Purpose
... to promote public safety by easing the cost of obtaining and maintaining permits to carry concealed weapons"

no income tax here so can't wish for it.... would love to see that on the national level tho....
I know... but a man can dream can't he?

I had a similar idea for here... Why not exempt sales tax on gun or ammo sales for those with a proven firearms safety training (and allow hunters Ed to count). The whole idea to incentivize being a good guy.
