Thanks, well there really isnt to much of a story to it. I didnt have enough gas to go where i wanted to call at so i stayed somewhat close, outside of town. I did 8 different stands from 7:45 till 3:30, couldn't get a dog to respond to save my life to the distress call so i just decided to start using the howler. On the 6th stand i finally had a dog come in to about 400 yards and it sat down next to a telephone pole... then the fog rolled in i waited another 20 minutes hoping he would show himself and the fog just got thicker so i walked back to the truck. I was heading for home and decided to take a little detour and came around a corner and this coyote was runnin up the hillside on some of our families property so i jumped out of the truck gave a whistle stopped and about 275-300 yrds away the 130gr ballistic tip hit its mark.
