What do you think? This buck was killed one mile "as the crow flies" away from the spot that this shed was found. There is a bit of a story that I will post later.

To me, this shed looks like an identical (only a tad smaller) version of the antler on this buck. From the taper on the back tine to the break on the front tine and the bend in the main beam.
The shed was found 1 mile as the crow flies from where I killed this buck. Not too far really. But here is the fly in the ointment so to speak. I killed the buck in October 2004 hot on a does rear and I found the shed in the spring of 2006.
So if this shed came from this buck the last cast sheds would have been early 2004, thus making my shed two years old when I found it.
