I don't know much about it. What do you think it's worth? Would you keep it if it was yours? I'm adding a picture of the flaw on the handle also.....and one extra pic just for fun cause we all know someone similar :chuckle:
-
the "flaw" doesn't bother me. If I planned to keep and shoot it, I'd buy replacement grips and keep the originals in the safe.
nice pistol overall

:yeah:
I have on similar that is my camp gun. I love small revolvers for open carry while living camp life. Other than that mine is a safe queen.
-
How much do you want for it?
-
 thanks guys. I got it for a screaming deal because someone was hurting for money. I will definitely keep the originals but I figured it might be worth more with original grips. Yeah I found a lot of information jjb but it was all hit and miss on true identity. What I found was broad info. Cp I wouldn't mind letting it go because I carry a glock 27 for personal. Thanks guys!!

these are such cool old revolvers you have to keep it, they are not making any more!!

Bofire I appreciate firearms but just hate not using it or actually needing it. It seems it will just sit in the gun safe
-
Is it a Colt Detective 5 shot ? If so, that was my very first gun I bought in 1972 for $150. Very nice gun...

It seems it will just sit in the gun safe
What's wrong with that
-
Yeah it's a 6 shot. Ridgeratt I just see it as wasted money I guess.

The Detective special is a 6 shot
Mine was a 5 shot.
