   what is the difference between a Taurus lcp and an tcp.  only diff I think is the lcp is newer and slightly lighter.  both are 380's.  thanks,  mike w

  I did not specify.  both are Taurus and both are 380 caliber.  I think the lcp is a newer version.  I have the tcp and might get the lcp and am trying to find the diff between them.  they both sell for a bit over $200 and weigh around 10 oz.  they easily fit in your pocket.    mike w

  to answer my own question the Taurus tcp is a better pistol and I will not buy the lcp.  the ruger is $50 more but should be less.   that google thing does help.   mike w
