Random question but is there crabbable waters off the west side of whidbey? Particularly fort Casey area? Trying to make summer plans thanks

Boat or shorebound?

Small boat

Bush Point on the west side is pretty good. Set in 60-80 feet of water.

Be careful, I fished the chinook opener in a 16' and it can get a bit sporty. Current absolutely rips right outside the fort and you have the ferry to dodge.

:yeah:
Or drive about five minutes east and crab out of Penn Cove not nearly as much current and no ferry to worry about, plus you might get lucky and be able to tie up to the wharf. :twocents:
Best of luck this summer! :)
