I kept seeing what looked like mink scat at this marina. Early one morning I saw, at a distance, what I thought was a house cat sitting upright looking at me. When it turned, I realized it was a good sized mink. I've caught mink before in skunk tube traps so I set one, at what I began calling the mink toilet, baited with beaver meat scraps from the fur shed, and dabbed with weasel gland lure (I'd read that weasel scent makes mink very territorial). A bonus is that the skunk tube trap is a very discrete trap, if you don't want your catch on display, but wire it off because if this one rolls the door opens. First check and I had the mink!
