Title: Question for the knife makers...
Post by: Blacktail Sniper on February 16, 2016, 02:31:55 PM: I have an old 1950 Chevy 3/4 truck project, and the last few days have been spent hauling scrap away from the leftover parts rigs.

I have the rear spring packs off and was wondering if this steel is desirable for use in knife making?

Price of steel is way down, so just wondering if it has any value to a knife maker and if it is worth putting an ad up?

But good to know it would work, now maybe I need to start looking for a forge.....
