I got one of bearmanric's "magnum coaxers" last week... so I thought I'd give it a try at lunch. I work down in Kent, right on the Green River... there's a ton of coon tracks all over... but you never see any coons. I was bored at lunch today... so, I picked out a nice looking (by nice looking I mean the ugliest dead tree I could find) den tree... grabbed the camera... and blew on the call doing my best 'freaked out bird' impression. Low and behold... out pops not one, not two, but three coons to have a look-see. You can see them all in the picture... one above, and one below the main one in the middle. Now, where's my Sheridan when I need it?

you can do coon chatter almost the same as woodpecker. work your hand's over the end of the call muffliing it getting crazy and slow. that's how you do a bear cub on a closed reed but more drawn out. but you are twidding your tonge. cool picture. a guy killed 12 fox in sweden so far with that call killer call. making several for my arizona trip. want to get a grey fox lot's of bobcat's there to.
