Got up went to work. Reviewed a little Hunting Washington, looked at the weather forecast. 51 and calm winds in February.
Checked with the wife, kids are off to school. Check the weather again...51 and calm winds.
Sun came up, looked outside, told my boss I can't take it anymore I cleaned up a few loose ends and am headed out, I think there are fishing asking to be caught at 4th of July.

Ended up at Hog Canyon on a whim. I was pulling a sinking fly line with a brown wooly/Leech pattern. Water temp 40 at 10am ended at 4pm 42 degrees. No fish for the first hour. 19 fish between noon and 3 and then dead again. And for the internet police I was using a barbless hook and c/r-ing so I was not over limit. All the fish were 11-12" but really fat, except my last one which was a tad under 15". According to my fishfinder almost all the fish were cruising between 10-7' in the middle of the water column. I thought that was kind of weird with the time of year and water temps.
