I am thinking that I might try bear hunting this year. I normally am a waterfowl guy with a few days going after deer.
can any one give me some pointers on what to look for? or any advice at all? I am a complete newb to this so anything will help. like time of day to be out, new cuts vs. old cuts areas to avoid, what to look for? thanks guys

I think you will find a wealth of information in the Bear section of the forum. There are some great suggestions from guys who have had great success at harvesting bears.

Saylean has a book out that I want to get. It might help you get started after you search the bear section. I know I hope to buy it.

Thank you sir. Yes, plenty of info on the bear section, or you can follow the links below my post to buy my book. But, really, you read through the bear forum and you'll be on bears with hard work and patience. Best of luck to you sir.
