Title: Knight Disc Extreme and bloodlines?
Post by: BUTTER on March 09, 2016, 09:06:03 PM
I just picked up a knight disc extreme and bought a box of 275 grain bloodlines to shoot put of it planning on using triple 7 powder non pellets. I used to shoot the Hornadys out of my Remington 700 ml which i did like. Interested to see how other members feel about the bloodlines! Do you recommend them would you hunt with them? Also haven't got to shoot my Knight yet and can't wait. How do the other members feel about the disc extreme

110 grains triple 7 loose powder did the trick with my bloodlines thru my disc extreme. Just shoot a few combinations till you get a great group.

I bought a Disc Extreme last summer. I received a lot of good advice on here. Sabotloader in particular shared some great information. I'm using 120 grains of 777 3f  with a 300 grain bloodline and a #11 musket cap. I'm very happy with how it shoots. I plan to spend some time with different powder loads checking velocity, but for now I'm very confident in it

110 gr 777ffg and a 275 grain bloodline=deadly. The last elk I shot with this load tipped over in less than 25yds. They load a little tough but I love the groups with the bloodlines.

Others have used Harvester 50cal Crush Ribs with good luck getting them down...

I have an older disc. Use the same setup as listed above . Killed my spike elk a year ago with it  ,was dead before it hit the ground ,no tracking required.
