Seems like forever but it's only been 8 years since the big change. Getting those permits in the mail always felt like Christmas time when you were a kid. Boy have things changed.

I've seen those Not Selected for 20 years in a row on my elk, I feel your pain!

Yep, I remember those. And mine looked about the same. Not sure if they ever did print ones that said "Selected" :chuckle:

These were better then Christmas when they arrived...i started putting in for tags in 02 when I was 11...so I only had a few years to enjoy the suprise every year...drew one cow tag as a youth :'(

I remember those. I always grabbed the mail after school and when they came, it was so hard to wait until my dad got home to open them.

I remember those and also the apps where dad would take me to the local Wdfw office and we would fill out the hunt choices on the green card and turn them in in person. (I think we could have mailed them but we always went in person). Dad and I did it each year
