Saturday was great, got my spring projects all finished and the yard looks great. Today, decided to get out after church and fish old school. Found some ladies who wanted to play.

Both that Tad and reel are older than most folks fishing today. Got a bunch of the Tadpollies from my dad after he passed. All his direct drives also. My first steelhead came on one with the same blue pattern, but instead of chrome, it is transparent. That was in '79, and I still break it out on low and clear water days. They track better with a single hook than WWs and don't dig the rocks so bad in the shallower water. The River Rockers look good, but I just couldn't do it to the old man.
