I was wondering what those in the know might think about using a .454 Casull for moose?
I know it's been done...Just wanted some opinions.
-
I know I would certainly feel my 454 Casull would be adequate for Moose, I would limit shots to probably no more than 50 yards personally, but I've never really practiced shooting it any further than that.
-
It would be great for them out to about 75 yards. Pick a big bullet.
-
Thanks guys...thats exactly what I was thinking.

that's a freckin' elephant gun. be sporty use a .308 or .338
just kidding. .454 casull ought to do the trick

properly loaded I'd not hesitate to tackle moose with my .45 colt heavy loaded.
