If you buy the MS tag before the special permit process you can apply in deiiferent weapon categories. However you still only get 2 quality picks or 4 buck/bull picks.

You have until August 1 to purchase a multi season permit. You would need to exchange a regular tag if you had one.

I can't remember when the multi-elk started. But when I drew it in 2014 I had 5 points. And I thought I was a couple short of max points at the time. Bobcat likely knows when the multi-elk draw started.
I know I have not been drawn for multi-deer five times since it started. :o

I think you can do that by logging in to the "Submit Application" page. The list of all current and past applications should come up. Probably need to check his and yours both. One should say "group leader".

ok i guess it didn't get put in in any fashion.If you bought it, it will be put in for individual hunt as the default. To get anything other than that you have to go in and change it up (points/group).

There was a glitch/error and they are going in to fix everything before running the drawing.
my elk was not showing, and deer was showing as points only, and the guy i hunt with was showing as deer only as well. confirmed that both of us were in the drawing for each, the website just has not been updated yet.
should be nothing to worry about according to them.

There is an issue as many have echoed. They explained the process but not the problem. Whether it is just a glitch that is easily fixed is a moot point when they can't admit "something" is not as it should be. To not follow up and check on such an important investment is ridiculous. I'm sure had this happened with your Ram app you would have been trying to make sure the problem was fixed and you were entered into the correct categories with the correct choice of hunt options.
Just saying this is typical for wdfwolves and most bureaucracies to deny even the smallest problem.

:yeah: the elk sold out in 50 seconds, if you had a checker that was on the ball, you were good to go. I stood in line for 1.5 hours to keep my spot in line, me and the guy behind me got tags. If you have a dip stick in front of you buying their deer permit while everyone is wanting elk, like what happened to my cousin, then you missed out. I didn't draw either one. Neither did a buddy of mine. I'm surprised so many more people put in for deer....And a large percentage of them will not even buy it... Last year there were 3K that went up for grabs to anyone that applied and I think later on they went open purchase for anyone as there were still 2k unpurchased...

Your odds do get worse each year, thanks point creep. Next year is the last year i put in for multi season, wether i draw multi elk or not. One more try. From then on i only put in for spring bear and any moose. Rather spend my money in idaho. $500 gets you a non resident license, a deer tag thats way better than our quality permits, and a wolf tag. Washington needs to get their schnit together
