Title: 1 week to go...
Post by: WDFW Hates ME!!! on September 29, 2007, 10:25:19 AM: Taking next friday off to get the RV up to camp. Got all my clothes washin, got most of my gear organized. Still need a few things.
Heading up tomorrow for one last scouting mission, going to hang back as to not spook the animals to much...

Got the elk itch. I have had opportunities, but it has been a few years since i have harvested an elk. I can't wait.

We did see more people than we thought we would see...
Oh well, most of them are road hunters anyway.

Only thing i need to do tomorrow is take the puppies (2 left) tot he vet and get there 3rd set of shots. When i get back 1 of the pups will be gone, he leaves on sat. Will write about the season when i get home on thursday or friday...
First legal animal bigger than a spike buck is meat in the freezer.
