That was my first thought, but they look too freakin big! I caught trout as a kid but they were always way smaller than those.

Beautiful trout.

Nicely done and I love to see the kids doing it! Very smart on the life vests with the little guys that close to the water. My wife and I had a few good shore fishing days at Roosevelt, but I think the kids may have beaten us in the size department.

Awesome fish, way to get the kids outdoors!

Congratulations to the kids. Awesome fish.

Nice pics

Nice fish!
That smile is what it is all about.

Great pic's! Love to see the kids out and about. That is really an underutilized lake. Been catching fish up to 6-7 pounds fairly commonly with the average around 2 pounds. Don't need a boat right now, shore fishing has been good.

I like the little one digging for fossils before her catch, great job!!
-
Holy Cow, did you guys drain the lake??
That kid's smile is priceless. Good job, Dads!

Wow! Amazing pictures :) Those pictures will be cherished by those little ones for many years ahead. Great job

My thoughts exactly. Wow may and they have pulled it down that far.
Awesome job getting those kids out and into some fish.

Looks like they have stopped the leak and it's filling

Great fish! I believe those are Triploids. They're basically a sterile female rainbow trout.
