Those are rainbow trout. Congrats to the young ones! That's awesome!

That was my first thought, but they look too freakin big! I caught trout as a kid but they were always way smaller than those.

Post by: baldopepper on April 22, 2016, 10:45:31 AM: Great pic's! Love to see the kids out and about. That is really an underutilized lake. Been catching fish up to 6-7 pounds fairly commonly with the average around 2 pounds. Don't need a boat right now, shore fishing has been good.
