I had a bearded hen on one of my cams. So I decided she would be my target before the season started. I have got tons of gobblers bit never a bearded hen. Hunted her hard the first week got close but never a shoot opportunity. Then the turkeys changed there travel pattern . so I quit hunting that area for about a week to let things settle down and get back to normal. I went in last Saturday to see if they started using there normal pattern again. And after a week of no pressure they did. A new gobbler showed up also and my focus shifted from the bearded hen to the gobbler and Sunday night I made it happen. Myself personally I have never seen a turkey like this all the different colors the completely black wings and the white claws. It is by far the neatest bird I have ever shot. Where did you shoot it? Looks like it might be crossed with a domestic bronze breasted?I don't know of any domestic birds anywhere remotely close to where I got it

Thanks guys. I said I would only get one turkey mounted and I did that a couple years ago but I think I am going have to get a second one done.Congrats on a very cool bird ....................... and yes, it's time for another turkey mount.
