Title: Newer RAM Owners...Exhaust
Post by: BD1 on May 10, 2016, 02:18:36 PM
So I finally pulled the trigger on a new muffler for my 2014 RAM 1500 Crew cab (Hemi). I did way more research than the normal guy would. I went with a straight across muffler swap (only other mod was the extra pipe to make up the difference in size. I purchased the MagnaFlow 14 inch. This was hard as I am a Flowmaster guy on my other trucks.  There are many considerations that go into these new rigs (back pressure, interior/exterior sound levels, MDS kicking in etc.) It sounds sick now. Nice deep tone at idle, minimal drone (they all drone I don't care what people say) and sounds strongall the way through to WOT. There are some good videos on the net...I could send some from my phone of mine...or if you are in the area I can show you. Total cost installed out the door $152 in Everett. Awesome workmanship. I feel a power difference but it just may be that I am in the throttle more. Might as well have fun while you are driving I guess
