Title: Chehalis river for springers.
Post by: elkaddict652 on May 16, 2016, 06:58:55 PM: Has anyone ever fished the chehalis this time of year for springers? They opened it about a month ago, never been just trying to gauge if it's worth it or not.

Post by: Old Dog on May 16, 2016, 10:05:46 PM: It's a really small run. I talked to a biologist last year that was doing some kind of study on them, and he said it was pretty tough to locate them when there is only one fish per mile of river. :yike:

Post by: BigGoonTuna on May 18, 2016, 08:28:41 AM: the run is usually something like 1500 fish for the entire river. knew somebody that used to fish for them up by rainbow falls, but you can't fish up that high any more.
