Don't touch it! Against the rules.... Leave it for the squirrels :chuckle:

It's always amazing that some of them big old boys can avoid being shot and live so long. Quite the bull.

What REZ? Looks like the bull I almost shot 2 years ago on Muzzleloader hunt.
-
colville rez, must b nice
-
Dunno
nothing much about the history of this bull. Just got a couple photos. Here's the other one. I think I have seen trail cam photos of him form a couple years ago, I'll have to dig through my old emails and see if I can find them. Yes Colville.

Wrong REZ. I was hunting public land close to the border of a different rez. just watched the video looks close with the 3rd flaring out are the same but extra piont on the 4th. not the 5th. Think mine was a little bigger (maybe) :chuckle:

If that bull is a little smaller than the bull you ALMOST shot I'd bet dollars you've had some sleepless night since!
Yowzers what a bull!

wow, that's cool. Sooooo, does the colville tribe actually manage their Rez to have great quality hunting on it?? What an idea!!! So they don't have to go rape and pillage off reservation wildlife or do they?

You took the words out of my mouth

Think the dead bull might be bigger. Love those extras. Had this guy under 50 yards behind a tree and messed up.

they absolutely do. Timber management, wildlife management, predator management. what a concept huh?
-
Craig, do you get to hunt on the colville Rez?

That is very cool! Imagine what the yakamas could do with their Rez! That is very respectable, good for the colville's !

Absolutely, unequivocally, 100% yes.
Some really intense hunters on the Rez. Once they decide you are an OK guy they will open up to you and talk hunting etc.
-

no. my videos a Rimrock bull. at first i thought maybe that bull was on the Yakima Rez.
-
Look how fat and slick he is in the video. Shame he didn't make it through the winter.

They have a fish program that people seem to like to point too. I think they use seiners and release the salmon that don't meet the tribe's guidelines--unlike the normal practice of gill net all and dump what you won't sell.

Sounds like the rest of the tribes can learn a lot from the colville's, I bet they don't like them!
-
Jerry, check out they're instagram page!! Wow ....

If you want their facebook it is Rez Bucks Bulls & Predators, but that is not just Colville. The Colville guys have one too but I don't do facebook.

If you ever get invited to an antler show over at Nespelem...

Of coarse you do; the bull was found on a Reservation.

Colville does an excellent job. Trophy you just can't get over your sour grapes. You should be thankful, sound management and predator control are the only reason you were able to shoot your wife's bull last year.

Do you have some inside info on this bull? Please tell your story that you are pretty sure about.
-
We don't like Colvilles for a whole list of reasons (forgot this :chuckle: ) And I've said many times on here and off here they have a nice system in place. It said on their FB page they missed it during archery and couldnt find it during rifle and it died during winter. I'd love to hear more if someone knows?
-
The herd bulls have a higher risk of not making the winter than most people realize from the amount of energy they burn during the rut...
Hands down, the Colvilles are my favorite tribe. Lots to be respected about the way they do things. :twocents:
