Title: morels in the blues
Post by: steve04 on May 18, 2016, 06:21:23 PM: Are morels just now starting to pop up in the blues or have they already begun? Found a couple in one of my spots but they were really small.

I will let you know that I was out a week ago up above cle elum and got 8 #s of nice fresh morels. It has been showery for the last 5 days and I'm going again tomorrow. RULES HAVE CHANGED FOR RECREATIONAL PICKERS IN WENATCHEE/OKANOGAN NATIONAL FORREST. Go to http://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/okawen/home/?cid=stelprdb5415105&width=full and download the rules and print them out,one per picker as by the new rules each picker must have in their packs a copy of the new rules. With my 8 #s I was still well below the 5 gal limit. gl and watch out for tics!
