Short on recipe but oh man you gotta try this.
I was going to make popcorn but wanted something a little different.
last fall I smoked some elk and ground it after to make biscuits and creamed smoked elk gravy.
I took some of the ground smoked meat and added it to the butter after I microwaved it. probably 2 to 1 butter to meat. sprinkled it in the popcorn and mixed up.
Better then any theater popcorn.

Been using Bacon Salt on almost everything since it came out. Great on popcorn and really good on boiled eggs!

On the bacon flavor, I have to say not necessary. I've been using the ground smoked meat in place of bacon in a lot of things. Kind of a healthier alternative because of the lower fat content. It tastes different then bacon obviously but still top drawer.
An omelet made with some of the smoked meat and a little cheese is just great and a little less cholesterol.
