Title: Shrimp Prawn final
Post by: trophyelk6x6 on June 08, 2016, 07:12:06 PM
How did everyone do? Spot prawns for my group was spotty we worked hard for our limits. On hood canal it seemed rougher water wise and fishing wise. We got our limits but worked hard having to reset our 4 pots twice. Did dabob, hamma hamma, Duckabush, dosy, down to hoodsport. I was able to find big ones with an average of only 30 at best per pot.

I set a new record on the wrong side - 4 zero pots in a pull, all with good bait at decent depth.  I didn't think that was possible.

We fished four days, two Puget and two Hood and got our shrimp but have never worked harder.
