Hello to all. My Dad drew the Observatory Bull Elk tag. He is going to be 80. He gets around like he's a lot younger. He still gets his deer every year. We've hunted this area the last few years for Elk. I know it's not an easy hunt. My buddy had this tag 2 years ago. It took him the whole season and he filled his tag with a nice 340 class Elk. I want to give my Dad the best chance possible for filling his tag. I was thinking of possibly hiring a guide. We have never used a guide before. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
