The wife and I drew antlerless tags in the Olympic gmu.
Having problems finding maps for that area.
Any suggestions or tips?

A couple of things. You didn't say which weapon type, so I will assume this is the rifle tag. 621 is normally "any buck" but your special tag allows antler less harvests as well. Most of that unit is either private property (not a lot) or national forest (the vast majority).
Pope owns a sliver of land there, and allows hunting. This map gets updated every year.

Just remember that Deer Area 6020 is just to the north of 621, and is "any deer" during the general season. Thus, think about hunting both units, you will have the same results.

Yes the rifle tag.
Thank you for the info

State forest east of lake cushman

There are a few access spots off the hwy along the canal that will get you in deer country.

Are you planning on road hunting or want to walk in a bit? Should be able to see does with regularity in 621. For maps, check with the USFS Olympic-Hood Canal District they have a North and South map, also Custom Correct or Green Trails but those are more for going in on foot to the wilderness. The Forest Circus maps are good for the road system.

I used to see tons of deer up Mt. Jupiter road off 101. Its been a few years since I've been up there though.

There is some state land off of the Hamma Hamma road that has a ton of deer in it. PM me and I can help out.

Just keep in mind that 6020 is almost entirely private property so make sure to do your homework !!

We scouted the Ntl forest area last weekend. Got a good map from the forest service.
Saw 1 big healthy doe. Got some good intel.
The 6020 area is so developed, there is no way to shoot a rifle any where near there.
Hoping for a good season.

Good work, Fishncliff. Scouting now is good. That is a huge unit, and you are correct, 6020 is quite developed---in fact, that is mostly the problem, small parcels, lots of deer bothering homeowners. If you have an "in" with a landowner then you will do fine, otherwise not. Best of luck to you!

And its rifle restricted so if you do locate a place to hunt in 6020 you'll need to buy a bow !!

That is true, but you can also use a shotgun, a crossbow, a muzzleloader, a pistol, a revolver. Just no centerfire rifles. Any part of 6020 in Clallam county.

Either bow/crossbow or shotgun with shot or ball. Some parts of 6020 you can't even shoot a bow.
