Title: Curious Question
Post by: Monsterbull11 on June 17, 2016, 09:39:29 PM
Has there been any confirmation of wolves in the Manastash?
The reason I ask is, a friend and I were in there today and saw a couple tracks in the mud that I would have called a dog tracks. They were defiantly not coyote, way too big. But there were no people tracks to go with them.

I don't know of any official confirmation but last ML elk season we were camped on the border of Manastash and Taneum off of W Taneum Rd. 2 of my hunting partners were up late night and both heard one howling up the canyon from our camp. They know both know what a coyote sounds like and said it was for sure not a yote.
