Anyone have first hand fishing reports from the western shore of Vancouver Island yet?
-
No, but I'm bettin' it's pretty good.
-
Been good from reports. I try not to listen since I won't be up there to fish. :bash:
-
A buddy of mine is up there right now. His been putting up some nice pictures on his Facebook. The deck has been loaded.
-
Any size to the kings?
-
They look to be cookie cutters in the 22 to 25 pound range, he had a pic of a 28 he was holding.

Sounds like things are off to a good start. Saw a pic this morning of a couple with a 28, 30, and 32 kings. Only a couple more weeks till I make the journey up there

Buddy went last week and did good.
-
I will be up there Aug. 10th hopefully find some nice ones.
-
I will be up there the middle of July. Looking forward to going. The last few years their have been plenty of fish but the big 30+ pounders were hard to find. A lot less of them being caught than as recent as 5 years ago.
