Hello,
Has anyone ever camped at the Lewis & Clark Trail state park between Dayton and Waitsburg? It is right on the Touchet river? Looks like a nice spot to do some swimming and wine tasting!!
Thanks!

Yes, it is a great spot to camp, the camp ground is right next to the river with multiple trails that lead to the water.
-
I haven't camped there yet they were closed for the season my last trip but it is on my list of places to stay that is handy to all the things.
-
Thanks I will make my reservation! Take a fishing pole, the inner tube, the binos, the plastic wine glasses and the charcoal grill!!! :P

if you have a hankering to go somewhere to eat, The Whiskey Creek place right off highway 12 in Waitsburg has some good food.

Unfortunately they changed their menu awhile back.....not so good now. :twocents: Woody's in Dayton is good if Daniel is on as the cook. Otherwise.....not so good.
