Title: Evergreen reservoir
Post by: Buckewe on June 28, 2016, 11:27:49 AM
Looking for some tips on what to use here.  Going camping this weekend and I have never been there going to have a boat. I see there are walleye in there and I have never caught one so I would like to target them. I mainly fish trout so any info is appreciated.

I used to troll shad raps and taildancers on the edge of the weeds. That was in late May early June. Run shallower divers on the inside and deeper divers on the outside. We always got plenty of eyes and the occasional tiger musky doing this. Plenty of bass, both large and small mouth as well. It's been a number of years since I've fished that lake but always enjoyed it. Dawn and dusk were always the best times but we caught fish all through the day.

Thanks I'll have to check my gear and see what I have. I was thinking some slow death rigs or some divers.
