Never figured I'd draw with only 4 points so I didn't even check. Received the permit in the mail today. I didn't even plan on hunting WA this year but instead, spending three quality weeks in the spud state. Guess I'll look at hunting the WA permit spot for 4 or 5 days, take a reload day, they head to ID on the 14th/15th. Two bull year perhaps?

Kind of crazy not to check draw results. Doesn't matter how many points you have, you can draw with only one point. Is it a quality permit?
-
Do we even want to know what permit he drew?!??

You didn't hear about the new OIL branched bull permit? It's in GMU 334. :chuckle:
But elk must have name, and be in alfalfa field. :stirthepot:

Sounds like he already had a great tag. Probably better off spending all your time in Idaho.

Idaho is OTC but good spot I've my time in to. WA archery permit is Mudflow, I hear there's a few elk there worth plucking.
-
Mud flows not good this year because of global warming. Rick
-
Your crazy if you only give that tag a few days

Ya, working my schedule out so I can give the WA hunt a fair shake. I'll just try to knock down the first mature bull called in in the first day or two :-0
